Years later, flipping through those pages is like stepping back into a world of youthful energy, unforgettable friendships, and endless possibilities. Majority of these young faces are even featured in my Wedding Scrapbook. It’s a treasure trove of memories that warms my heart every time.

I start with a yellow album. One of my alma mater’s colors.
1. Freshman Year
To kickstart my scrapbook, I began by creating a nostalgic foundation. I pulled together photos from my freshman, sophomore, and junior years, crafting collages that encapsulated the essence of those formative years. These pages serve as a beautiful prelude to the senior year adventures that would fill the rest of the album.
2. Sophomore Year
3. Junior Year
4. 1st Day of Senior Year
You can’t have a school centered scrapbook without the iconic 1st day of school picture (featuring our family dog Boo)
5. Bestie’s Birthday
6. Night Out
7. Labor Day Fireworks
8. Baseball Game with Everyone!
One of the absolute best parts about scrapbooking is bringing your memories to life with more than just photos. Tucking away little treasures like ticket stubs and incorporating them into your pages adds a touch of magic. Imagine flipping through your scrapbook years later and stumbling upon that baseball game ticket, instantly transporting you back to the crack of the bat, the roar of the crowd, and the shared excitement with your friends. It’s like preserving the entire experience, not just the pictures.
9. High School Football Games
You can’t have a high school scrapbook without a dedicated football page of course!
10. Homecoming Dance
And of course after football we have the Homecoming dance! Both of these men were in my wedding scrapbook. So it’s not the last photo I have of them dressed up.
11. Field Day
Our field day was called Mercy Day. This is one of my favorite pages. I love the letters that I hand cut out. Long before I had a Cricut of my own. And the matting of the photos is so fun. Made with true scraps I had it ended up looking hectic and fun.
12. High School Dance
This is such a cute page. even though cupcakes have nothing to do with the dance. The colors matched my friends and I’s dresses.
13. 18th Birthday Page
14. Father Daughter Dance
Experimenting with various photo matting techniques is a fantastic way to inject life and personality into this page. By playing with different shapes, sizes, and colors, you can create a visually interesting and dynamic layout that truly captures the energy of my Dad and I. Whether you opt for classic rectangular mats or go bold with layered, angled designs, your photos will pop and draw the eye.
15. Christmas Dance
16. Fundraiser
17. Varsity Lacrosse Scrapbook Page
18. Basketball Games
19. Ice Cream Night
20. College Tours
Senior year is all about looking ahead to the next chapter, so naturally, I had to document the college registration process. It was a whirlwind of excitement and uncertainty, and I wanted to capture it all. Plus, this scrapbook page offered a perfect opportunity to transition from my high school colors to the brighter palette I was using for the college-themed spreads.
21. Lacrosse Games
This lacrosse collage is one of my all-time favorite scrapbook pages! I wanted to capture the thrill of every game without overwhelming the layout with similar photos. So, I decided to get creative and turn my lucky number seven into a dynamic collage. I cut out a basic shape of the number as a foundation and then filled it with action-packed shots. To frame the collage and give it a polished look, I added a matching number border. The result is a fun and visually appealing spread that perfectly encapsulates my lacrosse experience.
22. Sports Senior Night
23. Prom
Prom night was a whirlwind of excitement, and capturing it all on camera was a must! To make the most of our pre-prom festivities, we convinced our limo driver to make a pit stop at a local park. My amazing dad stepped in as our unofficial photographer, capturing the pure joy and anticipation of the evening. With so many incredible shots to choose from, I decided to create a clean and classic prom scrapbook layout with three rows of photos. It’s the perfect way to relive the magic of that unforgettable night.
24. Graduation
Graduation is a major milestone, so dedicating special scrapbook pages to this momentous occasion is a must for any high school alum. I opted for a classic and timeless look by using a sleek black background and framing it with a bold yellow border – a nod to my school’s colors. It’s a simple yet striking foundation that perfectly complements the celebratory nature of graduation.
25. Friends Wallet Photos
Remember those tiny wallet photos we used to swap with friends? Instead of letting those precious memories gather dust in a drawer, I decided to give them a starring role in my senior year scrapbook. It’s like a blast from the past every time I flip through that section! Seeing all those familiar faces brings back so many wonderful memories and makes me appreciate those friendships even more.
If you loved reliving my high school years through this senior year scrapbook, you’ll definitely want to check out the next chapter of my educational journey, documented in my college scrapbook and college junk journal.
