Hey there, fellow memory keepers! Today, I’m flipping open my scrapbook to a page bursting with pure doggone fun. It features none other than my furry best friend, Louie, in action!
You see, in our family, pets aren’t just companions, they’re full-fledged members of the crew. So naturally, I gotta include them in my memory-keeping adventures. This particular spread is all about Louie’s undying love for a good fetch session.
This page is a reminder that even the simplest moments with our pets can be pure magic. And scrapbooking them ensures those memories never fade.
Now let’s chat about the process! I gotta give a big shout-out to a paper pack I snagged from Michael’s ages ago. It’s one of those things that’s been a permanent resident in my crafting cabinet, and it always comes in handy.
This time around, it was perfect for creating a clean-lined “box” to house my Louie photos. I love using borders on the top and bottom of my scrapbook pages – it really helps tie everything together and well box-in the box.
If you’re new to scrapbooking and feeling a little overwhelmed, the box layout is a fantastic place to start. It’s straightforward to put together, and you can easily crop your photos to fit the space just right.
Here’s the thing about the box layout – it can be as simple or as fancy as you want it to be. In my case, I used borders to create a clean-cut look, but you could just as easily use patterned paper or other embellishments to create a more decorative box.
So, whether you’re a seasoned scrapbooker or just starting out, give the box layout a try. It’s a great way to showcase your favorite photos and create beautiful memories that last a lifetime.
Speaking of borders, the one on the top left pic is a bit wider than the others. Why? Because I wanted to draw your eye right to that photo – the one of Louie catching some post-fetch snooze time on the porch.
Lucky for me, that paper pack had two extra squares that were just the right size to finish off the box around my photos. Gotta love it when a plan comes together!
I hope this layout gives you a little inspo and if not. provides some cute doggie pictures.
Remember it’s not perfect it’s fun.
