Hey there, memory keepers! Let’s talk about a revelation I had this year that’s seriously upped my scrapbooking game: the table of contents!

Now, I know what you might be thinking: “A Table of Contents in a scrapbook? Isn’t that a bit much?” Well, friends, let me tell you a story. In the olden days (a.k.a., pre-TOC era), I’d be chatting with someone, and a memory would pop up. “Oh!” I’d exclaim, “I have that picture we took at the beach last year! Let me go grab it for you.”

Easy, right? Wrong! Next thing I knew, I’d be on a full-blown scrapbook safari, flipping through mountains of albums trying to find that one elusive photo. It was a frustrating, time-consuming mess.

Then, it hit me: a Table of Contents would be a lifesaver! A simple list of what’s inside each scrapbook, right there on the first page. Genius!

So, I started creating these collages once a scrapbook was full. They’re basically mini-scrapbooks themselves, made with leftover bits and pieces from the completed pages. This way, I could easily glance at the collage and know exactly what treasures were waiting to be rediscovered inside.

Plus, using leftover scraps for the Table of Contents keeps things sustainable and thrifty. No need to crack open a brand new sticker pack for this project!

So, are you convinced? Go ahead and scraping, get crafting. Build your table of contents. And remember it doesn’t have to be perfect it has to be fun.
